Installation Performance
2007

This was the first part of the triptych of performances. In a large dark space, a shaft of light was cast onto a four-poster bed. Sprouting from the centre of the bed was a dead willow tree that had blown down in a cemetery during a storm. On the floor of the room and the bed was a scattering of straw. For three days, Fornieles lay on the bed in a drug-induced sleep while the audience were invited to whisper through a horn hung above her head in an attempt to affect her dreams.
