PLEASURE SURVEY

2007
Live Performance
The Breakfast Club, Haunch of Venison, London

Fornieles sat in one of two booths, seen by the audience in the gallery through a one-way mirror. To her side, a decapitated deer carcass hung from the ceiling. Unable to see out, she faced the gaze of both the audience and anonymous participants, who were invited into the adjacent booth one at a time and invited to pick up the phone and call the artist who they could see through a one-way mirror. Fornieles conducted a survey of what gave people pleasure and in return answered any question.
