Spectrum starts and ends with the shot of a grey whippet sitting on a sofa. He looks straight into the camera as the footage cuts to various exterior spaces which describe what might be the interior world of the dog’s thoughts, or memories stitched together and manipulated.

 Spectrum is an articulation of gender that breaks down ascribed social constructs and creates an alternative. Listening, beyond a human realm and into the reception of animals, plants and environment, further distorts the binaries between human/animal, male/female, interior/exterior.
